Ho deciso di fare un po' di ordine nel mio armadio guardaroba. Tra i vestiti pre-maman, quelli estivi e quelli invernali dell'anno scorso che, ahimè, non mi vanno più bene (ho ancora 2-3 Kg di smaltire proprio li'!), ho un sacco di scatole che ho deciso di etichettare. Sono carine queste etichette, non credete?

I've decided to reorder my wardrobe. Since I have a lot of clothes: pre maman clothes, summer clothes and winter clothes, which I do not fit in yet (I am still overweight of 2-3 Kg!) I've put them in nice boxes and I've label it. I think they are nice, don't you think?

Io amo le fotografie! Da quando poi sono diventata mamma, ho sempre la mia reflex in mano per scattare qualche immagine di Manolo. Amo archiviare le immagini sul mio mac, sul mio iphone e sul mio ipad. Talvolta tuttavia le stampo. Tengo la foto nel portafoglio, se è piccolina, altrimenti la sistemo da qualche parte a casa, in ufficio, ecc...e allora ho pensato, perché non abbinare questo amore per le foto con il mio amore per il punto croce? Ecco il risultato! Vi piace?

I love to take pictures! Since when I become a mother, I have always my reflex in hand, in order to have nice Manolo images. I love to store these images in my mac, in my iPhone and in my iPad. But, sometimes I like to print them. Since I keep the picture in my wallet (if it's a small one) or at home or in my office, I have decided to combine the love for the picture with the love for the cross stitch and create this nice frame. Non ho molto tempo per ricamare in questo periodo. Dedico tutta la mia attenzione al mio piccolo Manolo. Tuttavia, in un ritaglio di tempo, sono riuscita a creare questa piccola striscia che può essere utilizzata per decorare un mug (la si fissa alle estremità con del velcro). Mi è sembrata un'idea simpatica e ve la propongo. E' carina no?

Auguro a tutte voi un sereno Natale! Il blog va in vacanza e rientra nel 2012 (intorno al 10 Gennaio).

In this period of my life, I don't have much time to cross stitch. All my attentions are for my little Manolo. However, in a piece of time, I have created a small strip which can be used to decorate a mug (it's fixed at the end with velcro). I thought it was a nice idea to propose you. Pretty, don't you think?

Dicembre è il mese del Natale, ma per il mio giro di amici e per la mia famiglia è anche il mese dei compleanni (ben 4!). Allora che regalare ad un amico cercando di coniugare le mie passioni e risparmiare un pochino? Un sacchettino del pane riciclato, colmo di biscotti di pasta frolla con un sacco di zucchero a velo sopra e con una semplice decorazione a punto croce! Sarà apprezzato? Spero di sì!

December is the month of Christmas, but for my friends and my family is the month of birthday, as well (4!). I was thinking to create a gift, trying to combine my passions and to save a little money: a bread recycled bag full of biscuits with a lot of sugar and with a simple cross stitch decoration. Fiocco nascita a punto croce

Buongiorno a tutte, care amiche di blog! Quest'oggi vi mostro una simpatica e veloce idea che ho realizzato ed appeso alla porta della cameretta di Manolo.

Si tratta di un fiocco nascita personalizzato, ricavato da un vecchio asciugamano ospiti azzurro.

Ho tagliato due strisce di 15 cm di larghezza per tutta la lunghezza dell'asciugamano e le ho unite per formare una striscia lunga lunga.

Ho piegato la striscia su se stessa per la parte stretta ed ho cucito per tutta la lunghezza. Con un po' di fatica ho rivoltato la striscia in modo che le cuciture non si vedessero. Ho creato un fiocco fissandolo con del filo trasparente che ho coperto con un ovale di lino ricamato con il nome del mio piccolo.

Vi piace come idea?

Per decorare la culla del mio bimbo, con materiali di recupero (fiocchettino a pois avanzato dalla bomboniere e tela aida azzurra avanzata dal sacchettino per la mia amica) ho creato questo cuoricino ricamato con la sua iniziale. A volte basta veramente poco per creare qualcosa di raffinato, non trovate?

In order to decorate my baby crib, I've cross stitched with his initial a little light blue heart. I've used recycled material as the aida from the little fabric bag for my friend (see last post) and the dot tape remained from the birth favors.

Sometimes it takes very little to create something elegant with few things, don't you think?

Poiché, nonostante le vostre preziosissime email, non sono ancora riuscita a creare un orsacchiotto carino per il mio piccolino (in arrivo tra un mese circa), ho ripreso in mano filati e tele da ricamo....e guardate un po' cosa è spuntato? Un leprotto, un uccellino e un gatto! Carino no? Creato e ricamato da me!

Despite your precious emails, I have not yet succeed in create a nice teddy bear for my little boy..... for that reason, I have start again in creating and cross stitched a pattern and.....a rabbit, a bird and a cat are now in a my white frame. Nice creations, isn't it?

Ho deciso di vivere la mia vita con ritmi più rilassati. Ho voglia di fermarmi quando sarò stanca e ho voglia di ascoltare i passerotti che cinguettano saltellando tra un ramo e l'altro del grande albero che ho davanti a casa.

Ho voglia di stare con il naso in sù e guardare le nuvole che si rincorrono. Ho deciso di parlare di più al mio bimbo, che nascerà ad Ottobre, e sono sicura che mi commuoverò tutte le volte che lo sentirò scalciare.

Ho deciso di ricamare quando ne avrò voglia e ho deciso di venirvi a trovare quando me la sentirò, quando avrò il giusto tempo da dedicarvi.

Da ora in poi, posterò i miei lavori quando saranno pronti, senza una cadenza particolare e commenterò i vostri post quando potrò.

Spero mi accettiate anche così.

I decided to live my life in a more relaxed way. I want to stop when I'm tired and I want to listen to the chirping sparrows hopping between a branch and the other of the big tree in front of me at home.

I want to be with my nose up and watch the clouds chase each other. I decided to talk more to my baby, to be born in October, and I'm sure I will move every time I hear him kicking.

I decided to cross stitch when I feel like and I decided to visit you when I have the right time to dedicate to you.

From now on, I will post my work when they are ready, without cadence detail, and I will comment your posts when I can.

I hope you accept me, even then.

Anche se influenzata, sono tornata! Come state? Come avete trascorso i giorni di festa appena terminati? Io mi sono divertita, emozionata e riposata. Riposata perché ho lavorato....eh, sì, ho lavorato, nel senso che ho realizzato tanti piccoli regalini con le mie mani per amici e parenti! Come di consueto, ho creato alcuni campioni che poi ho ripetuto per un numero infinito di volte! Qualcosa da mangiare, ovvero biscotti di pasta frolla a forma di alberello di Natale, qualcosa a punto croce, ovvero alberello stilizzato di cui vi ho omaggiato un free, e qualcosa da tenere come ricordo, ovvero barattolino dello jogurt biologico con bugia profumata all'interno, impreziosito da nastrino di raso bianco e alberello realizzato con fimo bianco. Ottima idea economica, non pensate?

Even if I am ill with flu, I am back home! How are you? How did you spend the holidays just ended? I have had fun, moved and rested. Rested because I have worked....uh yes, I have worked because I have hand made many small gifts for my family and my friends! As usual I have created some samples which I repeated for many times! The gifts included something to eat, Christmas tree shaped cookies, something embrodered with cross-stitch, I stilized Christmas tree which I insered in my previous post, and something to keep as a souvenir, a pot of jogurt with a little candle inside, enhanced with a nice ribbon and a white Christmas tree made with polymer clay. It's a nice and cheap project, don't you think?

Com'è dura la vita di noi ricamatrici di sera e lavoratrici di giorno...:-(

Io, a volte, arrivo così stanca a casa che non riesco nemmeno a prendere l'ago in mano! Ed ecco spiegata la ragione del perchè spesso creo piccoli progetti veloci. Qui ve ne mostro uno. Ho ricamato la striscia di lino con uno simpatico schema a punto croce moooolto natalizio, ho riempito il cuscinetto di imbottitura precedente profumata con la mia fragranza preferita e l'ho posizionato nel mio armadio. Carina l'idea, non trovate?

I sometimes arrive home so tired that I can't even take the needle in my hand! That's why I used to create little projects, like the one above. I've cross stitched the linen with a nice Christmas pattern, I've filled the little pillow with padding scented with my favorite fragrance and I place it in my wardrobe. It's a nice idea, don't you think?

Ho metri e metri di stoffa bianca, ho dei colori per tessuti, ho della tela aida. ho un'agendina che tengo sempre in borsa e ho un'idea: perchè non ricoprirla? Ecco fatto! Che ne dite?

Mi sento ancora addosso l'entusiasmo delle vacanze e desidero realizzare tantissimi ricami a punto croce. Sono piena di energia e di idee, ma ahimè, ho già ripreso il mio lavoro in ufficio e il tempo dedicato al punto croce si riduce ad alcune ore dopo cena. Buongiorno a tutte ragazze! Che bello tornare a casa e ritrovarvi tutte! Ieri sono passata da ognuna di voi per un salutino. In vacanza non ho crocettato, ma ho trovato tantissimi giornali e riviste (in Francia) fonte di ispirazione. Ieri pomeriggio tuttavia, trovando un pezzo di lino in disordine, ho deciso di creare questo semplice, ma grazioso coprivaso. Il motivo sotto la scritta è, naturalmente, antico. Buon rientro a tutte e viva le crocette!

On holiday I did not cross-stitch, but I found many magazines (in France) for ispiration. Yesterday afternoon, however, I found a piece of linen and I decided to create this simple but lovely "cache pot". The embroidery under the writing is of course ancient. Ciao a tutte e buon lunedì! La scorsa settimana non ho aggiornato il blog, non perchè fossi al mare, ma perchè questo caldo mi ha sfiancato! E ovviamente non ho creato nulla...:-(

Tuttavia ieri, è arrivato un bel temporale che mi ha risollevato il morale e la pressione!

Ho così ricamato questo schema che avevo creato da un po' di tempo. Io adoro gli angeli! Da quando poi ne ho trovati alcuni di terracotta, li ho sparsi per la casa perchè mi proteggano! E a voi piacciono?

Hello everybody and good Monday! Last week I didn't update my blog, not because I was at the seaside, but due to the heat, I was really exhausted! And of course I didn't create anything :-(

Fortunately, yesterday a thunderstorm arrived and it has lifted my mood and my blood pressure!

Thanks to this new fresh air, I have decided to stitched a pattern which I created months ago.

I do love angels! In a shop close to home, I have found some of them made of terracotta and since then I decided to arrange them in my house: I am sure that they protect me! And you, do you like angels?

C'era una volta una vecchia sagoma di legno a forma di cuore che non sapevo come utilizzare. Un bel giorno, mi è venuta l'idea di ricamarci sopra qualcosa.... ed ecco il risultato!

Once upon a time there was a wood heart which I did not know how to use, until one day, I've decided to cross stitch a little pattern....and this is the result!

I fiorellini ricamati sono (oramai mi conoscete!) schemi antichi risalenti almeno ai primi del '900.

L'ho riempito di morbida imbottitura che ho opportunamente profumato e l'ho impunturato con il filo trasparente.

I’ve filled it with soft padding, which I appropriately scented, and I stitched right round with transparent thread.

Una casa immersa nel silenzio, una finestra aperta dalla quale entra aria fresca di primavera e fiori bianchi sul tavolo sistemati dentro un vaso "di fortuna" opportunamente decorato con un nastro ricamato a punto croce. Così inizia la mia giornata. E' o non è una meraviglia?? :-))
